The importance of having a value in advance content marketing and a social media strategy that is managed and upto date is more important than ever. The best definition i have seen to explain the often misused term of ‘content marketing’ was by Corey Wainwright and he covers it simply as
‘Content marketing is a marketing program that centers on creating, publishing, and distributing content for your target audience — usually online — the goal of which is to attract new customers’

Content can be created and published in a variety of forms and most common via Blog posts, podcasts, actionable resources like ebooks, free reports and cheat sheets, webinars, email marketing and of course via video. With so many ways to get your content published the leverage link is to use social media to drive traffic to the source of the content for your audience to consume.
